Celebrating Growth and Gratitude: a Big Day at Suntrust

On June 26, 2025, Suntrust gathered to celebrate not only the birthday of its beloved President Atty Harry Paltongan, but also the many milestones achieved by the company and its dedicated team for the first half of the year.

It’s a day of bountiful celebrations and overflowing gratitude for the past year’s gifts to the Suntrust family and its captain.



A House Where Everyone Wins

The festivities started off with a mass to celebrate and bless the upcoming days with abundance and prosperity before the program kicked off. With the teals and yellows of Suntrust’s reality show-inspired celebration surrounding the office, the celebration drove off the blues of the day.

In our version of celebration, Suntrustees are given equal chances to become the grand winner. Evictions are basically a myth in our own reality show!

“Rather than competitors,” Atty. Paltongan starts. “We should look at each other as collaborators—as supporters of each other.”

He advocates that connections formed with your fellow Suntrustees will be the key to enjoying life to the fullest.

“Someday, you will realize that the friendships you have formed will help you in your journey,” he says with a smile. “You will always have someone to lean on in the future. You will never be alone.”

The Secret To A Meaningful Life

As someone who has witnessed the many highs and lows of the company over the years, Atty. Paltongan offered heartfelt reflections on what keeps him going.

“I think it’s because there’s still something I need and want to do,” he said. “There’s always something that inspires you—something that pushes you to keep learning. You grow wiser with each passing year, and everyday challenges become easier to overcome.”

He emphasized the importance of purpose and enthusiasm.

“The moment we stop finding meaning in what we do—when we say ‘pagod na ako’ or ‘work na naman’—that’s when we begin to lose our spark,” he added. “But as long as something excites you, challenges you, or inspires you to grow, there’s always something to look forward to.”

Growing with Suntrust

Atty. Paltongan also reflected on the passage of time with his trademark optimism. 

“When I was 18, I used to think that 58 was already old,” Atty. Harry Paltongan says. “But when you reach my age, you wouldn’t feel like that at all. What is important is that you keep dreaming.”

Along with Atty. Paltongan, Suntrust has also grown as a company through the many learning experiences Suntrustees have experienced. With these in hand, Suntrust continues to progress as one of the leading developers in realizing the Filipino dream of homeownership.
