Suntrust Honors 2nd Quarter Top Performers

For every Suntrustee, there is a purpose behind every sale. And this purpose came to life during TANGLAW: Gabay sa Tagumpay, the 2026 2nd Quarter Sales Awards held on August 19, 2026, at Casa Ibarra in Pasay City. Inspired by the Filipino word ‘tanglaw,’ meaning a guiding light, the event celebrated Suntrust’s top performers who continue to illuminate the path toward success through their dedication to helping Filipino families achieve their homeownership dreams.

Celebrating Success, Driven by One Team

The celebration brought together Suntrustees for an afternoon of recognition and inspiration. Performances from local acts and Suntrust’s very own sales team showcased not only their talents, but also the energy and camaraderie that make the Suntrust family stronger.

At the heart of the event were the 2nd quarter awardees, whose performance reflected the hard work and determination behind every milestone. Their achievements served as a reminder that every successful sale is built on countless challenges and opportunities pursued.

“The success we are celebrating today is a product of your collective efforts. These achievements are not only yours to celebrate, but also an inspiration for the entire company to keep moving forward and strive for greater success,” said Jerry R. Rubis, First Vice President for Sales & Marketing.

Adding wisdom and inspiration to the celebration was Filipino motivational speaker and wealth coach Chinkee Tan, who shared valuable insights on achieving success in sales and in life. He encouraged Suntrustees to look beyond the numbers and see every sale as an opportunity to learn, improve, and build meaningful relationships.

“We are the ‘tanglaw,’ the light that guides our clients and buyers throughout their homeownership journey,” said Atty. Basilio C. Almazan, Jr., Suntrust Senior Vice President. “And alongside us, we have a strong and firm leader who continuously supports us. As long as we remain committed, our collective goal as a company will surely become a reality.”

The Importance of Trust in Our Sales Journey

Since its inception in 1997, Suntrust has been a guiding hand in the homeownership journey of Filipino families. Through the years, the company has remained committed to developing homes and communities that provide families with opportunities to build better futures while empowering its sales agents to become trusted partners in making these dreams possible.

“It’s trust that you should build first and foremost,” advised Suntrust President Atty. Harrison M. Paltongan. “Your role as a ‘tanglaw’ is to be their guide to achieving their dreams and aspirations through homes and communities that bridge them to countless opportunities. Once you have become a trustworthy individual, success will surely follow shortly.”

And to create that feeling of trust, Atty. Paltongan emphasized the need to be a great listener, knowledgeable in real estate and beyond, and truthful in your promises to clients. It’s this quality of service that has allowed each and every Suntrustee to be a perpetual guiding light—not only to clients, but also to fellow Suntrustees.

“Strive to be the best, and only then will you be able to inspire your peers to join you in your success,” said Atty. Paltongan.

As Suntrust continues its journey in its 29th year, the company remains committed to providing quality homes for Filipino families. With every Suntrustee working together toward a shared vision, the company continues to build on its achievements and pursue a future filled with greater opportunities and possibilities.
