Famous Mobile Palengke Visits Condo Residents Amidst Quarantine

Residents of Suntrust condominium projects are taking advantage of Mobile Palengkes to replenish their food supplies during the Enhanced Community Quarantine.

The Mobile Palengke, in cooperation with the respective Barangays, Property Management Office and House Committee of each project aimed to encourage the homeowners to stay in their homes and help contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

To ensure that safety protocols are followed, stalls are usually stationed in the community clubhouse or any open spaces that would require physical social distancing while homeowners shop for their basic needs.

At present, projects with regular Mobile Palengke schedule are Suntrust Treetop Villas in Mandaluyong City and Suntrust Shanata in Quezon City.

Angelique who is a regular Mobile Palengke shopper from Suntrust Treetop Villas is grateful for the initiative of Mandaluyong City, “It was quite stressful to wait for long lines at supermarkets, so I got really excited when I saw the Mobile Palengke just across the lobby because I can buy meat, fish, vegetable without leaving home,” she added.
